Airport wayfinding from check-in to the gate

IntoPie airport wayfinding puts a departures and arrivals board and a gate finder on terminal kiosks. A passenger types a flight number, sees their flight, and gets a route to the gate — then scans a QR code to carry the same route on their phone.

What is airport wayfinding?

Airport wayfinding helps passengers move through a terminal: to check-in, security, gates, lounges, food, and restrooms. Digital wayfinding replaces static signs with kiosks and phone maps that know where each flight departs. IntoPie combines a flight board, a gate finder, and indoor routes across floors and zones, and keeps working through network drops.

What you get with IntoPie

Gate finder

Passengers type a flight number, see the flight card, and tap to walk to the gate on a drawn route.

Departures and arrivals board

A flight information board on the kiosk that refreshes on its own. If the connection drops it keeps showing the last board, marked with when it was updated.

Route to the phone

One QR scan carries the route from the kiosk to the passenger's phone. No app to install.

Alerts where they matter

Target announcements to terminal zones, specific flights, or channels.

Concession offers

Airport shops and restaurants publish offers and menus from their own portal for airport approval, shown to passengers near their gate area.

Frequently asked questions

How does an airport gate finder work?

The passenger enters their flight number on the kiosk. IntoPie shows the flight and its gate, then draws a route from the kiosk to the gate, which the passenger can take with them on their phone by scanning a QR code.

What happens if the kiosk loses its connection?

The flight board keeps showing the last update it received, with a note saying when it was last refreshed, and maps and routes keep working.

Can airport shops and restaurants promote offers?

Yes. Concessions publish offers and menus from their own portal, the airport approves them, and approved offers appear to passengers on kiosks and phones.
