Terms of Service
Last Updated: August 21, 2026 · Applies to intopie.com web portal and the IntoPie Digital Signage Android Player APK
Welcome to IntoPie, a cloud-managed Digital Signage CMS platform provided by Into Pie Pvt Ltd (“Company”, “we”, “us”). By accessing our web administration console, downloading and installing the IntoPie Digital Signage Player APK, registering a screen device, or deploying content to the network, you (“User”, “you”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you are acting on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
1. Platform Overview & Ecosystem
IntoPie operates as a multi-tenant, cloud-managed Digital Out-Of-Home (DOOH) content management system. The platform consists of:
- Web Administration Console (intopie.com): A browser-based dashboard for managing screen fleets, scheduling content, running campaigns, and monitoring analytics.
- IntoPie Digital Signage Player (Android APK): A kiosk-mode Android application installed on display hardware. It requires no end-user login — devices are paired with the console via a one-time pairing code shown on screen.
- Content Delivery Network: Geo-distributed cloud infrastructure ensuring reliable, low-latency delivery of approved media assets to screen devices.
2. Enterprise Usage & Multi-Tenant Workspace Rights
IntoPie supports enterprise deployments with multi-tenant workspace isolation:
- Workspace Isolation: Each enterprise account receives a logically isolated workspace. Data, screen registrations, and content belonging to one workspace are strictly inaccessible to other tenants on the platform.
- Role-Based Access: Workspace administrators may invite sub-users and assign roles (Admin, Editor, Viewer). The account owner is solely responsible for all actions taken by sub-users within their workspace.
- Screen Fleet Management: Enterprise customers may register and manage any number of screen devices. Each screen is uniquely identified within the tenant's workspace.
- White-Label Restrictions: Resale, sub-licensing, or white-labeling of the IntoPie platform or APK requires a separate written reseller agreement with Into Pie Pvt Ltd. Unauthorized resale is strictly prohibited.
- SLA: Enterprise Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are defined in separate order forms. Without an explicit SLA, the platform is provided on an “as-is” best-effort basis.
3. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
You agree to use IntoPie only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws. The following are strictly prohibited:
- Uploading or broadcasting content that violates our Content Guidelines (adult, vulgar, hate, illegal, infringing material)
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or modifying the IntoPie APK or backend systems
- Circumventing the pairing/authentication system to gain unauthorized access to screens
- Using the platform to conduct DDoS attacks, scraping, or any form of automated abuse
- Falsifying screen location, uptime telemetry, or impression data
- Using the platform for any form of political campaigning without explicit disclosure to IntoPie
- Registering devices on public or third-party property without the express permission of the property owner
Violations of this AUP may result in immediate account suspension, termination, and/or referral to law enforcement, without liability to Into Pie Pvt Ltd.
4. Content Moderation & Admin Review
All media assets (videos, images) intended for display on the IntoPie network must pass a mandatory admin review process before going live. See the full policy at our Content Guidelines page.
- Content enters a “Pending Review” queue upon upload and is not displayed until explicitly approved.
- IntoPie administrators may reject any content without obligation to provide a reason, particularly where there is reasonable suspicion of policy violation.
- Users bear sole legal responsibility for content they upload. Approval by IntoPie does not constitute an endorsement of or assumption of liability for the content.
5. Screen Owner Responsibilities & Hardware
- Hardware Maintenance: Screen owners are solely responsible for their physical display hardware, power supply, mounting, weatherproofing, and internet connectivity.
- Legal Placement: Screen owners warrant that they have all necessary local authority permissions, landlord approvals, and regulatory licenses to operate a digital display at their chosen location.
- Editorial Control: Screen owners may configure content filtering preferences within their workspace to restrict categories of content from displaying on their hardware.
- APK Updates: Screen owners must ensure that devices running the IntoPie Player APK are on a supported version. Into Pie Pvt Ltd may retire support for older APK versions with 30 days' notice.
6. Payments, Billing & Payouts
- Subscription / Usage Fees: Access to the IntoPie CMS is subject to the pricing plan selected at registration. Fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
- Taxes: You are responsible for all applicable taxes (GST, VAT, etc.) on services purchased.
- Disputed Charges: Any billing disputes must be raised within 30 days of invoice issuance by contacting [email protected].
7. Software License & APK Usage
Into Pie Pvt Ltd grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the IntoPie Digital Signage Player APK on Android devices you own or control, solely for managing content on your registered screens via the IntoPie platform. You agree not to:
- Distribute, sublicense, or publish the APK outside of officially approved channels
- Modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the APK
- Use the APK in any way that violates Google Play Developer Program Policies
8. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the IntoPie platform, trademarks, software, and branding are the exclusive property of Into Pie Pvt Ltd. Users retain ownership of their own uploaded content. By uploading content, you grant Into Pie Pvt Ltd a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, transmit, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the service on your behalf.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Into Pie Pvt Ltd's total liability for any claim arising from the use of IntoPie shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the three (3) months preceding the claim. Into Pie Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for: (a) indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; (b) loss of revenue or profits; (c) hardware damage or theft; (d) third-party legal claims arising from your uploaded content; or (e) outages caused by force majeure events, including internet infrastructure failures.
10. Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account — immediately and without prior notice — upon: detection of fraudulent activity; AUP violations; non-payment of fees after a 14-day grace period; court orders or regulatory directives; or any conduct that we determine poses a risk to platform security, other users, or third parties.
Upon termination, your access to the web console is revoked immediately. Registered screen devices will cease receiving content updates. You may request a data export within 30 days of termination by contacting support.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [City], India. For minor disputes, both parties agree to first attempt resolution via good-faith mediation before pursuing formal litigation.
