Content Guidelines

& Content Moderation Policy

Effective Date: August 21, 2026

IntoPie operates a public-facing digital signage network. Content displayed on our screens is visible to the general public — including children, families, and vulnerable individuals — in physical real-world spaces. Accordingly, we enforce a rigorous, mandatory content moderation and verification system. No content is published to any screen without explicit admin approval.

Human Review

Every piece of content is reviewed by a trained IntoPie administrator before it is approved for display on any screen.

Zero Tolerance

We enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy for adult, violent, hateful, or illegal content — no exceptions, no appeals window.

No Auto-Publish

Content is never automatically published. It remains in a "Pending" queue until an admin explicitly approves it.

1. The Admin Review & Verification System

All content uploaded to IntoPie follows this mandatory moderation workflow:

  1. 1
Upload: User uploads a media asset (video/image) via the CMS dashboard.
  2. 2
Pending Queue: The asset is immediately placed in a "Pending Review" state. It is NOT displayed on any screen.
  3. 3
Admin Screening: A trained IntoPie moderator reviews the asset against these Content Guidelines, applicable laws, and platform standards.
  4. 4
Decision: The moderator issues one of three decisions: Approved (content goes live), Rejected (content is removed with a reason communicated to the uploader), or Flagged (escalated for secondary review or legal assessment).
  5. 5
Live / Removed: Only Approved content is scheduled for display. Rejected content is permanently removed from our storage after 14 days.

Typical review time is under 24 business hours. Expedited review is available for enterprise customers on SLA plans.

2. Prohibited Content — Zero Tolerance

The following content is strictly prohibited and will be rejected immediately:
  • Sexually explicit, suggestive, or adult content of any kind
  • Nudity — partial or full — regardless of artistic framing
  • Graphic violence, gore, or disturbing imagery
  • Hate speech targeting race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
  • Harassment, bullying, or threats directed at individuals or groups
  • Political propaganda or campaign material without prior written consent from IntoPie
  • Content infringing on third-party copyright, trademarks, or intellectual property rights
  • Gambling, betting, or lottery promotions (unless legally licensed and approved by IntoPie)
  • Promotion of illegal drugs, controlled substances, or paraphernalia
  • Counterfeit products or fraudulent business offerings
  • Malicious links, QR codes, or calls-to-action leading to phishing or malware
  • Misleading medical claims or unlicensed pharmaceutical advertising
  • Content targeting or exploiting minors in any manner

Uploading prohibited content will result in immediate content removal. Repeat violations or deliberate attempts to circumvent moderation will result in permanent account suspension and may be reported to law enforcement.

3. Approved Content Categories

Content that is generally approved (subject to review):
  • Brand advertising, product launches, and promotional campaigns
  • Public service announcements (PSAs) and community notices
  • Event promotions, concerts, and entertainment listings
  • Restaurant menus, retail offers, and hospitality marketing
  • Real estate listings and property promotions
  • Educational and informational content
  • Corporate communications and internal signage for enterprise deployments
  • Seasonal and holiday-themed content adhering to community standards

4. Copyright & Intellectual Property

You must own or hold a valid license for all content you upload. Uploading content that infringes on third-party copyright — including unlicensed music, branded logos, stock footage, or registered trademarks — is a violation of these guidelines and applicable law (including but not limited to the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and the IT Act, 2000).

  • Infringing content will be removed upon discovery or valid DMCA/takedown notice.
  • Into Pie Pvt Ltd will cooperate with rights holders to address infringement claims promptly.
  • Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.

5. Public Marketplace & Shared Screen Content

Content submitted to the IntoPie public content marketplace (for use across multiple screens operated by different parties) is subject to enhanced moderation scrutiny. In addition to the standard review process:

  • Brand identity claims (e.g., official brand logos) may require verification documents.
  • Marketplace content must carry clear advertiser attribution — anonymous or misleading sourcing is prohibited.
  • Screen owners subscribing to public marketplace content can apply additional category filters restricting content types displayed on their hardware.

6. Reporting Violations

If you observe content displayed on an IntoPie-connected screen that you believe violates these guidelines, please report it immediately:

  • Email: [email protected]
  • Include the screen location (if known), date and time, and a description or screenshot of the content.
  • All reports are reviewed within 24 business hours. Verified violations result in immediate content suspension.

7. Policy Updates

These Content Guidelines may be updated to reflect legal changes, platform evolution, or community feedback. Material updates will be communicated to registered users via email and an in-dashboard notification.
