Account & Data Deletion
You have the right to delete your IntoPie account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains exactly what gets deleted, what is retained (and why), and how to submit your deletion request.
1. How to Delete Your Account
Step 01
Submit a Deletion Request
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: “Account Deletion Request — [your registered email]”. Include your full name, registered email address, and your workspace/organization name (if applicable) to help us identify your account.
Step 02
Verification
Our team will send a confirmation email to your registered address within 2 business days. You must reply to this confirmation to verify your identity before processing begins. This prevents unauthorized deletion requests.
Step 03
Data Erasure Processing
Once verified, we will process your deletion request within 30 days. Your account will be deactivated immediately upon verification. All personal data will be purged from our active systems within the 30-day window.
Step 04
Confirmation of Erasure
You will receive a final confirmation email once the data deletion is complete, confirming what data was deleted, what was retained (and why — e.g., statutory financial records), and the date of completion.
2. What Data Is Deleted
Upon completion of a verified deletion request, the following data is permanently erased from our systems:
- Your account profile: name, email address, company/organization name
- All screen device registrations and pairing codes associated with your workspace
- All uploaded media assets (images and videos)
- Scheduled content and campaign configurations
- Analytics and usage data linked to your account
- API keys and authentication tokens
- Support ticket history (except where legally required to retain)
3. Data We Are Required to Retain
Certain data must be retained by law even after an account deletion request. This data is isolated from active systems and inaccessible to other users:
- Billing & Invoice Records: Retained for 7 years to comply with GST, financial auditing, and Indian statutory requirements.
- Fraud Detection Logs: If your account was investigated for, or found in violation of, our Terms of Service, relevant logs may be retained for up to 5 years for legal proceedings.
- Legal Hold Data: Data subject to a court order, regulatory investigation, or law enforcement request cannot be deleted until the hold is lifted.
Your deletion confirmation email will explicitly list any data categories retained, the reason for retention, and the retention period.
