Queue Management

Queue management that calls patients by token, in their language

IntoPie queue management replaces shouted names and crowded front desks. Patients take a token at a kiosk or by scanning a QR code, follow their place in line on their phone, and are called on the waiting-room screen with a chime and a spoken announcement in their language. The queue runs on the same screens and the same console as your digital signage.

What is a queue management system?

A queue management system issues each visitor a token, decides who is called next, and tells them when and where to go. Instead of a paper list at the desk, staff call the next token from a console; the waiting-room screen and the visitor's phone update at once. IntoPie's queue is a widget inside an ordinary signage layout, so one screen can show the room's queue beside your regular content.

What you get with IntoPie

Tokens from a kiosk or QR code

Visitors tap a service on the kiosk or scan a QR code to join the queue. By default no name is collected — only a token number.

Spoken calls in Indian languages

Each call plays a chime, then announces the token and room in up to three languages in turn, such as English, Hindi and Kannada.

Place in line on the phone

A live status page shows how many people are ahead, then “You are next” and which room to go to. There is no app to install.

Queue and content on one screen

The room card sits in a signage layout beside your playlist, so waiting-room screens keep showing information and promotions.

Wait-time analytics

Track how many visitors were seen within your wait target, busy hours by weekday, and service time per desk.

Connected to hospital systems

We partner with hospital information systems so registered patients join the right queue automatically.

Frequently asked questions

What does IntoPie queue management do?

It issues tokens from a kiosk or QR code, lets staff call the next token from a console, and shows the call on waiting-room screens with a chime and a spoken announcement in Indian languages. Visitors can follow their place in line on their phone without installing an app.

Do patients have to give their name to join the queue?

No. By default the queue works with token numbers only, and screens show tokens rather than names.

Does it work with our hospital information system?

We partner with hospital information systems so registered patients join the right queue automatically. Talk to us about the system you use.

Can the queue run on our existing signage screens?

Yes. The queue is a widget inside an IntoPie signage layout, so the same screen can show the room's queue beside your playlist.
